The Information We Collect


At MyHallMonitor.com we only collect personal information during the registration and post complaint process. Visitors are required to be 14 years or older to create a complaint. During the registration we collect a full name and a valid e-mail address.; When a new complaint is created, we may collect additional information including, a poster's address, telephone number, gender, date of birth, and certain Computer Information (see below)., and w We may also ask additional questions regarding poster's experience with the company he/she complains about and regarding personal preferences on a number of topics when visitors create a new complaint. For certain enhanced services, we also may collect billing information provided by PayPal. Additionally, when visitors come to our site, we automatically collect some non-personally identifiable "computer" information, such as the type of computer operating system (e.g., Windows XP or Mac OS), the visitor's "IP Address", the web browser (e.g., Netscape, Internet Explorer) being used, information collected through the use of cookies (see below) and information regarding the Internet service provider ("Computer Information"). This non-personally-identifiable information may be shared with third-parties to provide more relevant services and advertisements to members. User IP addresses are recorded for security and monitoring purposes.

How We Use the Information


We use the complaint information for our internal statistical purposes including research and development and for rebuttals. Complaint information including pictures and sign-in names are displayed to people in order to facilitate user interaction and comments in the MyHallMonitor.com community. Email addresses are used for the purposes of sending notifications related to the service.

We use visitors' Personal Information for our internal purposes of enabling visitors to enter one of our online contests or sweepstakes, to subscribe to our online newsletter, or to inform visitors of upcoming events and special announcements. Each e-mail contains instructions on how to be removed from the subscription list.

We also use visitors' Computer Information to track usage, improve the design of the Site, offer products and services, to personalize our visitor's experiences, save visitor's password in password-protected areas, and to ensure visitors are following the site's Agreement. Contests and Sweepstakes


MyHallMonitor.com occasionally offers contests and sweepstakes, which may be entered online. Only registered members can participate in contests. All the information collected by MyHallMonitor.com is securely maintained and used only for the purpose of conducting and fulfillment of the contest or sweepstakes. Once the contest or sweepstakes if finished, we delete any personal information collected. The information collected in a MyHallMonitor.com sweepstakes may be passed to a fulfillment house which may use the information to help run the contest or sweepstakes. Any such fulfillment house may not use the information for other purposes and must agree to maintain the confidentiality of the information.

Collection of Information by Third-Party Sites and Sponsors Our site contains links to other sites, including those of sponsors, advertisers and survey companies. Visitors should consult the other sites' privacy notices, since our Privacy Policy does not cover those sites. Pissed Consumer does not share a visitor's e-mail address or other Personal Information with such third parties.
